Classes Description
Hatha Yoga
A traditional Yoga class designed to increase awareness of your entire body while quieting the mind. After a short warm up of dynamic asanas, each poses are held for 20 to 30 secondes with a mix of stretch, strength and balance, for a great ‘all-round’ practice. Each class has a little pranayama, relaxation and meditation part, with a strong focus on body awareness throughout.
Gentle Flow
This is a more dynamic, although beginner-friendly, practice where each asanas are transitioned from one to the other. With the help of a few rounds of Sun Salutations, you will increase both your body flexibility and strength while keeping your stamina going with on-going, slow, transitions. Finish with some short tension release exercices and a well-deserved relaxation.
Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation
A well-balanced class compromising of the main 3 elements of traditional Yoga. About a third of the class will be dedicated to each practice, starting with a range of postures (asana) before moving on to breathing exercices (pranayama) designed to relax the body and focus the mind for a deeper meditation practice.
Asana Lab
This unique class is designed to develop your asana practice and help you understand how to perform the classic Yoga poses correctly. You will work on less than 10 poses in the hour. This is a class is done daily in a Yoga Teacher Training and should be seen more like a workshop, where you can ask all your questions about alignments, benefits, adaptive strategies to fit your body, etc
Kundalini Yoga
Known as the ‘Yoga of Awareness’, Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) is a powerful practice combining dynamic postures with pranayama, mudra, mantra and meditation to promote spiritual well-being. This combination helps the flow of prana across the body and stimulate the awakening of Kundalini, the dormant life force within us.
Amerta
Sound
Meditation
Amerta Sound meditation session is based on the principle that every element in life consists of energy and vibration. Amerta means ‘nectar’ in Javanese and this journey mixes Tibetan singing bowls with other ancient instruments, vocal toning, and Javanese sacred mantra chanting for an intense and immersive healing experience run by internationally acclaimed sound healer Galih Naga Seno and his wife Irma.
Sound Healing
After setting an healing intention at the start of the practice, all you have to do is to let your body absorbs the vibrations of the Tibetan singing bowls while your subconscious mind is magically working through the healing process. This is a truly relaxing and transformative experience which enhances well-being while leaving you emotionally balanced and fully rejuvenated.
Yoga Nidra
Another guided meditation technique made popular by Swami Satyananda, Yoga Nidra (‘Sleep Yoga’) takes you through various concentration and visualisation exercices while lying down on your mat. This makes for a very relaxing practice where your brain switches to theta wave state, slowing down the nervous system and helping the release of emotion tension.
Meditation
Whereas it is a Chakras, Open Heart or Kundalini meditation, this 30mins add-on to the morning classes is a great addition to your Yoga routine to take care of your mental heath. Those guided meditation are beginners-friendly and a efficient way to increase your concentration and focusing abilities for improved daily attention, memory, decision making process and reducing stress and anxiety.
Kids Yoga
The kids Yoga and meditation classes are very much adapted to the children’s age and make it for a fun yet effective activity for both the body and mind. Aside from the obvious physical benefits, Yoga for children is known for improving body & self- awareness while helping relaxing and focusing on the present moment. The Bahasa class on Saturday afternoon is a gift to the local children of the village and is FREE for everyone to join.
Friday Kundalini Workshop
Our unique weekly Friday Kundalini workshops are a balanced blend of Kundalini activation practices. From Kundalini Yoga to meditation to sound healing to Kriya Yoga, this 6h journey into the awakening of our dormant energy is as exciting as it is diverse.
Starting with a 1h Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhagan) followed by a 30mins Kundalini meditation, you will take a short tea break before entering our sacred sound dome for a 1h Chakra Sound Healing session.
A vegetarian lunch is provided before starting our Kriya Yoga session. This is an intense and advanced meditation practice following the teachings of Swami Satyananda. The workshop finishes with a 30 mins Q&A session where you can ask all your questions about prana, chakras, kundalini and much more.
** EVERY FRIDAY **
9am to 3pm
Kundalini Yoga + Kundalini meditation + Chakra sound healing + Kriya Yoga + Kundalini Q&A
500,000 IDR (including vegetarian lunch)
(if you only want to come to some classes but not all, it is absolutely fine to participate in individual classes on a drop-in basis)

Meet your teachers
Following 20 years of travelling the world and living between England, India and Australia, Simon shifted his Yoga skills from his French national championship gymnast background to a deeper focus on traditional knowledge, incorporating the mental and spiritual benefits of Yoga into its physical practices. After earning a high distinction in his Bachelor of Psychology, he went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Education (1 year full time) at the prestigious Kaivalyadhama College in India where he ranked second out of 58 students. He is currently finishing his Master’s degree in Yoga and Naturopathy with the aim of pursuing a PhD in Yogic Science. Simon previously completed a range of Yoga Teacher Trainings in Nepal and India as well as a 1 year Diploma in Energy Healing in Australia. He taught Yoga classes and workshops daily for eight years in London and Sydney, sometimes to more than 150 students a week. Although he enjoys teaching classic asana classes, he likes to specialise in pranayama and deep meditation courses. Passionate about teaching traditional yogic practices, he founded the SKY (Yoga & Meditation) studio and training center to inspire students to understand, practice and transform themselves through authentic Yoga.
