200-Hour Syllabus

SKY Yoga & Meditation was created with the mission to bring traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings from India to Bali.

Our 200-hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training in Ubud, Bali, offers the most authentic and comprehensive foundation in traditional Yoga, while preparing you to confidently teach modern Yoga classes anywhere in the world.

Overview

Accredited by Yoga Alliance International from India, our 24-day (23-night) 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali offers a balanced mix of philosophy, practices (asana, pranayama, shuddi kriyas, meditation) and teaching methodology. You’ll gain a clear understanding of what Yoga truly is, experience its transformative power, and develop the confidence to guide others with authenticity. It’s an immersive and life-changing journey—carefully designed for powerful self-development while preparing you for success as a Yoga teacher anywhere in the world.

While the foundation is traditional Hatha Yoga, you will have weekly vinyasa class and explore Ashtanga, Yin, and a special class of Ancient Balinese Yoga, gaining experience with different modern styles and teaching approaches.

Rooted in the Patanjali Yoga Sutras and based on the Hatha Yoga tradition, this program includes a strong emphasis on meditation, with 27 hours dedicated exclusively to practice—one of the most comprehensive meditation components offered in any Yoga Teacher Training in Bali. The course also includes a special silent day to deepen your inner awareness and stillness.

While the foundation is traditional Hatha Yoga, you’ll also explore Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga, gaining experience with different modern styles and teaching approaches.

Inspired by our studies at Kaivalyadhama, the world’s first Yoga institute to conduct scientific research, our academic curriculum integrates Yoga research articles and traditional text references wherever possible.

Although the training is intensive, it’s also joyful and rejuvenating. Weekly Sound Baths and two Sunday excursions are included so you can relax and reconnect without needing to plan a thing. The program is fully inclusive, covering accommodation, meals, materials, and all activities.

To ensure a truly personal learning environment, each course is limited to 15 participants—allowing for individual attention, guidance, and community connection. Upon graduation, you’ll also have the opportunity to stay an additional three days/nights for free to join our Sound Healing course, where you’ll learn to play Tibetan Singing Bowls and guide your own sound bath sessions.
