300-Hour Syllabus

SKY Yoga & Meditation was created with the mission to bring traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings from India to Bali.

Our 300-hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training in Ubud, Bali, offers the most authentic and comprehensive foundation in traditional Yoga, while preparing you to confidently teach modern Yoga classes anywhere in the world.

Overview

Accredited by Yoga Alliance International from India, our 31-day (30-night) 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is designed for yogis who have already completed a 200-hour YTT and are ready to deepen their knowledge and elevate their practice and their teaching. It is a real step up from the 200h YTT where you will learn so many new asana, pranayama, shuddi kriyas and discover new topics such as Yoga psychology and Ayuverda.

Firmly rooted in the Hatha Yoga tradition, this advanced course builds on the foundation of the 200-hour program. Aside from a short review at the beginning, it is filled with entirely new teachings and practices. You’ll explore the Patanjali Yoga Sutras in greater depth, revisiting chapters I and II while diving into chapters III and IV, along with a detailed study of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and key teachings from the Gheranda Samhita. The training also introduces Yoga Psychology and a foundational understanding of Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga.

On the practical side, you’ll advance your skills with challenging asanas, new Pranayama techniques (with extended ratios and Kumbhaka control), and refined Shuddhi Kriyas. You’ll also deepen your meditation practice through Transcendental Meditation and a one-week Yoga Nidra immersion, preparing you to teach it confidently. Two silent days at the end of the third week invite you to experience the true transformative power of stillness and meditation.

Although the course is grounded in Hatha Yoga, you’ll also experience Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga, giving you a well-rounded understanding of modern styles. Inspired by our experience at Kaivalyadhama, the world’s first Yoga institute to conduct scientific research over a century ago, we enrich our curriculum with academic studies, research articles, and traditional text references wherever possible.

To make your journey truly unique, we include optional activities such as two Sunday excursions, weekly Sound Baths, fasting practices for detox, and other mindful experiences. All are part of your course package yet remain optional—giving you the freedom to participate as you feel called.

Upon completion, you’re invited to stay an additional three days and nights for free, including accommodation and meals, to join our Sound Healing course in Bali, where you’ll learn to play Tibetan Singing Bowls and facilitate Sound Bath sessions.
